Log of our adventures (married couple & golden retreiver) as we take trips into the beautiful mountains of West Virginia. These trips include day- hikes, over-night backpacking trips in the wilderness, or just quick walks around our neighborhood park.

Well, about time (about 11 months!)for a new blog post from the leafy West Virginia hollows. Hopefully there were trips between Sept '08 and August '09. Always good to see people getting out in Nature.

Unfortunately, there were not as many trips in the past year as I would've liked. We did go camping in the fall of '08, and went on a short day hike on North Fork Mountain. I just never got around to posting any pics of it. We went to Europe in September of this year, so I will post some Pics of the trip when I get a chance. I tore my achilles tendon and had to have surgery a month ago, so I won't be hiking any for awhile (4 to 6 months) :(
